One-Year Memberships

PERFORMING AND/OR NON-PERFORMING ARTIST ($100.00)

This category includes an online Member Profile Page and is for the:

  • Performing Artist (Minimum Nine Years of Age / Any Level of Experience) *
  • Non-Performing Artist (Director, Playwright, Production Support)

* Not all AASD Members qualify to participate in the organization's annual All-City Auditions.
To check qualifications, go to PROGRAMS/ALL-CITY AUDITIONS.

STUDENT MEMBERSHIP ($75.00)

MUST BE A FULL-TIME STUDENTS WITH VALID ID.   A copy of your student I.D. must be scanned and emailed to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or mailed to P.O. Box 460 Poway, CA 92074 for approval or a hold will be put on membership until it is received.

ARTS SUPPORTER ($65.00)

This individual is not necessarily employed in the arts but wants to be a member of AASD as a way of supporting the San Diego acting community. This level is entitled to all of the benefits, programs, and services offered to the Performing or Non-Performing Artist Membership with the exception of participation in the organization’s Annual All-City Auditions and the completion of a Member Profile Page.

"I just wanted to take a moment to compliment all the Staff on a great job on so many fronts. The past few months have given us an opportunity to get to know AASD "up close." Our son became a professional youth member, participated in the All Cities Auditions, is performing on one of the Festival plays and is now rehearsing for a show resulting from the All Cities Auditions' exposure. We are so impressed with the professionalism of all the staff members. Every time I have had contact with anyone at AASD they have been thorough, sensitive, and incredibly responsive. The website and newsletters are fabulous resources for the community. It is reassuring, especially as a parent, to know there is a "professional" resource team available to help us sort through the options available in the local theatre community...and a team we can trust.
