Actors Alliance of San Diego
Website Posting

The Actors Alliance seeks to provide the most comprehensive information available in San Diego for audition and job postings, class offerings and cast lists. Below you will find information about how to utilize this free service, provided on our website.

Audition Posting

There are two separate Audition pages on our website: one for Paying project and one for Non Paying projects.

Paying Project Submission Guidelines (FREE to post)

* Production must offer stipend/salary to actors

* Notices must be emailed by Thursday at 1pm to shauna@actorsalliance.com for Friday’s update. Your notice will appear until casting is complete.

* We must have the following information for the audition posting:
• Production
• Theatre Name
• Director
• Audition Date/Time
• Callback Date/Time
• Production Dates
• Contact Information
• Pay Rate
• Location of Audition
• Description (cast breakdown, what to prepare, synopsis, etc.)


We accept the following items for promotion:

• Printed copies of the script or audition sides for actor perusal prior to the audition date.
• Flyers or brochures- to be placed on our bookcase for visitors to take away
• Poster(s)- to hang in our front window for pedestrians to view

Non Paying Project Submission Guidelines (There is a fee to post)

* The notices listed below are for non-paying productions. The fee to post on this hotline is $25 per audition, and the notice will run until the show has been cast. Student projects may be posted for only $10 per notice. Payment can be made via Visa. Mastercard, Discover, or a debit card with one of those symbols.

* Notices must be emailed by Thursday at 1pm to shauna@actorsalliance.com for Friday’s update. Your notice will appear until casting is complete.

* We must have the following information for the audition posting:
• Production
• Theatre Name
• Director
• Audition Date/Time
• Callback Date/Time
• Production Dates
• Contact Information
• Pay Rate
• Location of Audition

Education Postings

* All workshop, classes, forums and or meetings must offer a discount to AASD members or be free

* Notices must be emailed by Thursday at 1pm to shauna@actorsalliance.com for Friday’s update.

* We must have the following information for the audition posting:
• Name of Class/Workshop/Forum
• Instructor
• Contact Information
• Cost/ Cost for Members
• Time/Date of Class
• Location
• Description (class description and teacher background/bio)


We accept the following items for promotion:
• Flyers or brochures- to be placed on our bookcase for visitors to take away
• Poster(s)- to hang in our front window for pedestrians to view

* Please include general information about the position you seek to fill, including salary, contact information and deadline for submissions. Please visit our Jobs page for job posting examples.
